Roadblocks, obstacles, sneers and jeers: They’re par for the course when pursuing any worthy endeavor. Practice leaving them in your dust.

Is your creativity blocked? It may be an emotional block. Dig down deep and let those feelings flow.

When you speak, do people listen? Do you even listen?

Are you willing to claim just what exactly it is that you want? Or is that only for everyone else?

If you’re the one who ends up keeping the family together, don’t forget to take time out for yourself.

Is the guilt trip you lay on yourself a form of perverse pleasure?

If people have trouble “getting” you, maybe you should try to “get” them.

You may be there for everyone else–are you there for yourself?

A big-picture person isn’t always popular. Sometimes they stand alone. And that’s OK.

It’s not enough to conceive of an idea. You have to “will it” into being.
